After just having arrived in Ireland with Green Fire Islands I immediately changed my mind about not blogging. Of course I will. I will blog photos and impressions of every day here in Ireland and maybe London. Most of the NZ artists and crew (16 of us) arrived at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annamakerrig yesterday late afternoon and since then I am in overdrive with my camera. This is one of the most beautiful and inspiring places I have seen in a long time. Amazing. Stunning. Photographer’s heaven. Everyone is enchanted and the decision to stay here for the rehearsals looks absolutely perfect. Even though we traveled for about 30 hours no one could go to bed after having arrived here. Too much to see, too beautiful, too many hellos and arrivals. Of course, I can only post a few photos …however, they might give an idea about what’s happening here. Over the course of today most Irish artists will arrive…so watch this space – I’ll try to post a few pics each day. See you!
